The ring around Lake Varese runs almost entirely on a cycle path. From Lido di Gavirate take the bike path to the right and, going along the coast of the lake up to Biandronno, go up the inland from the only relief ramp of the route (10% gradient for about 100 m).
Continue on the outskirts of different countries, enjoying a beautiful view over the clear waters of the lake.
Continuing, we arrive at Capolago and then at the Parco di Schiranna.
After crossing the park, go back down to the shore near the town of Groppello. Returning to the lake, one arrives at the starting point.
Here you will find numerous bars and restaurants, as well as ample parking.
Path on asphalt and colored concrete suitable for everyone, even for families with children being mostly flat.
You exit the track a few times on very little busy roads and for a few meters.
Very suggestive and varied as it passes from the meadows to the woods to the lake with the background of the pre-Alps and the Alps to act as a boundary.
The route is very well signposted, as are the little fountains that are not found on the path, easily visible thanks to special signs.
Travel time varies depending on the stops and personal preparation.
